Social media marketing is the process of gaining website traffic or attention through social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and GooglePlus (to name just a few). It is fair to say that one of the defining features of the internet’s evolution over the last decade is the extent to which people now “vote” for online content by “liking”, “tweeting” or sharing links to pages they endorse.
