Tokyo Web Designs would like to discuss project work opportunities with freelance web designers and web developers who possess the following:

Bilingual English/Japanese Ability

Must be a genuine native level speaker of English OR Japanese
PLUS
At least conversational fluency in the other language.

Portfolio of Websites

The portfolio must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the following principles:

• Simple and robust usability
• Search engine optimization
• W3C XHTML validation
• WCAG Priority 1 compliance
• Original, appealing and outcome focused design aesthetics

At least some of the following skills

• XHTML/CSS tableless design
• PHP5/MySQL development
• JavaScript development (jQuery/Mootools/Prototype)
• ActionScript development
• Graphic design with Adobe Flash
• Graphic design with PhotoShop/Illustrator/Fireworks

Experience in any of the following areas will be highly regarded

Drupal 6 development
Joomla development
WordPress plugin or theme development
PHP/MySQL based Shopping Cart development e.g.

• Magento
• Ubercart
• VirtueMart
• WordPress Ecommerce
